The "historical significance of the Communist Party of China's century-long struggle" summarized in the draft resolution comprehensively, profoundly and systematically reflects the party's historical contributions to China and mankind; the "historical experience of the Communist Party of China's century-long struggle" summarized and summarized runs through history, present and future, and has great historical significance and practical guiding significance.

During the process of soliciting opinions, many good opinions and suggestions were put forward by various regions, departments and aspects. The document drafting group analyzed these opinions and suggestions one by one, and absorbed as much as possible. After repeated research and deliberation, 547 revisions were made to the draft resolution, which fully reflected the opinions and suggestions of various regions, departments and aspects.

During the drafting of the draft resolution, the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee held three meetings and the Political Bureau of the Central Committee held two meetings for deliberation, and formed the draft resolution submitted to this plenary session for deliberation.
